05 Dec Black Vanilla Presents Getty Images ‑ Visual Trends Report: Financial Services
We’re hosting an exclusive event with Getty Images in December which will explore the visual communications trends in financial services marketing.
The lunchtime event, held on 11th December, will hear from Getty Images Creative Insights Manager, Jacqueline Bourke. She will share insights from Getty’s 2019 Financial Services Visual Trends Report. The research uncovers visual communications trends and creative insights from some of the world’s biggest financial services brands.
‘Financial services have undergone a period of tremendous change in the last decade and in a highly competitive industry where regulations make product differentiation difficult, how brands communicate is more important than ever before,’ says Nichole Culverwell, Director of Black Vanilla.
‘Just as we can paint a picture with words, so can we tell a story with a picture. We need images more than ever before, for blog posts, social media and websites as well as more traditional media or marketing materials.
‘Getty’s research is quite unique and will provide many interesting insights for anyone marketing a financial services business.’
Getty analysed thousands of image search terms and interviewed senior marketers at some of the world’s biggest financial services brands to draw its conclusions and this is the first time the insights will be presented in the Channel Islands.
Jacqueline Bourke, Senior Manager of Creative Insights at Getty Images says, ‘We are able to take proprietary data from over a billion searches and downloads on our platforms, combined with observance and investigation of societal trends and behaviours to identify visual trends and surface imagery that resonates with consumers.
‘Our research has highlighted many trends that the financial services industry is trying to address, and we have identified and created the key trends and imagery to do the job. By employing the appropriate imagery it is possible to communicate complex issues and engage the audience in your message by establishing your unique visual language.’
