We have two Guernsey-based speakers taking part in a virtual fireside chat, focusing mainly on the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the potential routes for recovery.

Turnaround expert Jon Moulton has called the pandemic “the biggest disruption of my working life”.

And independent director Andreas Tautscher says the issues being faced, and the potential recovery solutions, look very different to that of the global financial crisis of 2008.

Meanwhile Guernsey’s funds sector is competitively placed at the start of a new decade, strengthened by economic substance provisions and a developing position in the growing sustainability sector.
