We know that there are many people around the world who are struggling during this incredibly challenging time. Given the current climate, it’s easy to forget that today is International Day of Happiness but there’s never been a more important time to pause for reflection.

We’re really pleased to have been working with Investec to spread a little happiness around the Bailiwick this #InternationalDayOfHappiness. They’ve teamed up with world-renowned happiness expert Dr Andy Cope to produce a series of short videos that share some unique insights into the importance of happiness.

Each of the three exclusive videos encourages us to take a few minutes to explore the theme of happiness, and they are aimed at primary and secondary school pupils and adults, specifically here in Guernsey.

The initiative follows Andy’s successful visit to the Bailiwick last year when he presented his insights into happiness to audiences comprising parents and teachers, schoolchildren and Investec’s clients.

Nichole Culverwell, Director of Black Vanilla, says: ‘Investec formed a fantastic partnership with Andy Cope last year and we are so pleased that he has recorded three videos so that everyone can get a little boost of happiness – much-needed in these worrying times.

‘We will all be watching the videos in our office today and we hope that wherever people are working  they can pause and tune in.’

You can access the video for primary school children here, and the video for teenagers is here.

The third video will be available to view this morning via Investec’s Channel Islands LinkedIn channel www.linkedin.com/company/investec-ci/
