Meet the GY Business Diary

Published On: April 7th, 2020Categories: Black VanillaBy

We’re delighted to announce the launch of the GY Business Diary. The calendar is designed for professionals working within the local PR, event, marketing or business development community who are organising events in the Bailiwick.

The GY Business Diary aims to become the central hub listing all corporate events, such as;

  • Seminars
  • Webinars
  • CPD sessions
  • Conferences
  • Corporate entertainments

Nichole Culverwell, Managing Director of Black Vanilla, explains: ‘The current situation has meant that all physical events are currently on hold, however, local firms are becoming increasingly creative in how they communicate, educate and engage with the local business community.

‘As such, there has been a significant increase in virtual events and training sessions being delivered online. So, it’s crucial that companies can find dates that don’t clash with those of their competitors.

‘We also anticipate that many events will be rescheduled for later in the year; we hope this calendar will help companies to work around dates that have already been taken.’

How it works

If you are planning an event in Guernsey, email hello@black-vanilla.gg and we will let you know if another event is listed for that time and date.

If your event goes ahead, let us know and we will add that to the corporate calendar, helping other event organisers to avoid that date.

Each event has a description of what attendees can expect, information on the organiser and a link to how people can sign up, or buy tickets if required. If it’s a private event, it will be marked as invite-only.

Currently, our team will enter all event information; however, in time, the functionality of the calendar will allow for input by all event organisers.

If you’d like to see what’s coming up in the 2020 corporate calendar, you can do so here.
